The Umme Habiba Legal Professional Corporation (UHLPC) is looking for a candidate who is enrolled in an accredited School of Law to fill an Administrative Intern-Law Clerk (Administrative Intern) for its Toronto office. The candidates should be able to perform important duties under the direction and guidance of the lawyer that may include doing legal research, preparing drafts and basic court documents, gathering information from clients and witnesses. The candidates need to have thorough understanding of Legal Accounting & Ethics, Legal Systems & Research, Legal Procedures, and some software knowledge commonly used in the legal offices, i.e., PC Law, Divorce Mate, Conveyancer, and Tera View etc. For the interns, after the eight-weeks internship there will be a possibility of getting a full time position depending on candidate’s performance and commitment.
